Before launching the School Khana Program, BMI camps are held in schools to check students’ height, weight, and overall health. After 6 to 8 months, another checkup is done to measure improvements in health and attendance.

2. School Vision Program

Good vision is essential for learning. The School Vision Program helps students with eye problems by providing free eye checkups and free eyeglasses to those in need. Through eye camps, students and teachers can receive necessary vision care without financial burden.

How School Meals Fight Global Hunger

In low-income communities, children often skip school to help their families earn money. By offering free and subsidized meals, the School Meal Program encourages parents to send their children to school regularly. This leads to higher attendance and enrollment rates and ensures students get the nutrition they need to thrive.

Activities and Social Support organized

The Allah Walay Trust also organizes fun activities for students through volunteers. Additionally, AWT distributes:

  • Ramazan food packages to Muslim families
  • Christmas meals to Christian families
  • Qurbani meat on Eid-ul-Adha

These efforts help students and their families celebrate important occasions with joy.
